Kevin Burns To Attend Roswell Cosmic-Con!

Kevin Burns is the creator and executive producer of more than 500 hours of diverse and dynamic television programming. His work can be seen on E!, History, A&E, Travel Channel, Bravo, Animal Planet, National Geographic Channel, AMC — and more.

In 1993, while working as an executive at Twentieth Century Fox Television, Burns cofounded Foxstar Productions where he developed and produced a series of “Alien Nation” movies for television. In 1994, Burns founded Van Ness Films, a subsidiary of Foxstar that was designed to produce non-fiction and documentary programs and specials for the growing cable marketplace.

In 1999, Burns founded Prometheus Entertainment where he continued to create and produce film and television programming, most notably “The Girls Next Door,” “Kendra” and “Hollyʼs World” (for E!), the popular History Channel series “Ancient Aliens” and “Americaʼs Book of Secrets” for H2. In 2003, Burns won his first of two Emmy Awards as Executive Producer for A&Eʼs Biography series. Other recent projects include “Kendra On Top” (a reality series for WEtv), “The Godfather Legacy” (a two-hour special for H2) and “Food Paradise” (a series for the Travel Channel).

Also in 1999, Burns, in partnership with feature film executive Jon Jashni, founded Synthesis Entertainment where the two began developing and producing remakes and sequels of the popular Irwin Allen movies and television series (“Lost in Space,” “The Time Tunnel,” “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea,” etc.), most notably the feature film version of “Poseidon” in 2006.
